Who is Phineas Cole?
Paul Stuart, the under-appreciated uptown neighbor to Brooks Brothers, has created a very dandy sub line to their staid, but elegant name brand. Who is Phineas Cole? I can't tell you, but he knows how to dress, as seen in his latest collection and he knows where to cocktail - The Lambs Club is a beautifully restored Manhattan hot spot which, save for the 'inconsistent' crowd, harkens back to El Morocco, Doubles, or the early speakeasy days of '21.'
