John Wayne in Acapulco

In 1947, Hollywood photographer, Phil Stern, took these images of John Wayne enjoying Acapulco at The Hotel Las Palmas, a hotel he owned with Tarzan actor, Johnny Weissmuller. According to The Hollywood reporter, Wayne and Weissmuller used the Mexican hacienda as a "private club for their pals."
