I've quietly been admiring the incredibly unique talent of Thomas Allen. Here's an artist who has taken all the elements of 'pulpular' culture and created a body of work that can appeal to so many on so many levels. Fun fiction, erotic fantasy, and the retro portraits of damsels in distress, noir detectives, and fighting cowboys. Sex sells and it's no secret. It's the ladies that Allen features in his work that got us all to our local libraries before the internet brought them into our bedrooms.
